Academici zonder vaste aanstelling zijn vaak erg slecht op de hoogte van hun rechten, plichten, en positie als werknemer. Bovendien zijn ze dikwijls geïsoleerd, en maken zij niet tot zelden gebruik van medezeggenschap, institutionele ondersteuning of arbeidsrechten.
Op donderdag middag 9 juni tussen 15.00 en 17.00 organiseren wij (de AOB, CasualUtrecht en 0.7) een online event speciaal voor jou. Tijdens dit online event informeren we je over lopende ontwikkelingen in de cao, jouw werknemersrechten, en de voor jou beschikbare en van belang zijnde netwerken, infrastructuren en organisaties binnen de Universiteit Utrecht. Naast alle kennis en ervaring die wij met jou zullen delen is er ook genoeg ruimte voor jouw vragen. Laat ons je informeren, ontmoet vakgenoten, en uit de zorgen die je hebt.

Dear lecturer, PhD candidate, UU colleague,
Academics without a permanent contract are often very unaware of their rights, obligations and position as employees. Moreover, they are often isolated and make little or no use of employee participation opportunities, institutional support or labour rights.
On Thursday 9 June, between 15.00 and 17.00, we (AOB, CasualUtrecht and 0.7) will organise an online event especially for you. During this online event we will inform you about current developments in the collective labour agreement (CLA – CAO in Dutch), your employee rights and networks, infrastructures and organisations within Utrecht University that are available and may be of importance to you. Besides all the knowledge and experience we will share with you, there will also be plenty of room for your questions. Let us inform you, give you a chance to meet your peers, and address your concerns.
